IRC Channel

It would be nice to setup an IRC channel I guess to chat and talk about SP; I realize #eventscripts is not that much frequented, but occasionally you get a more serious talk in there :P
(In any case, I think it's a good idea also for support etc - some webinterface can be included at a later point)
Takes at most 5 mins to apply for an IRC channel here:

Did you already set up a channel? So we just need to sign up, or what?

No, I didn't. Generally the owner(s) or at the very least people affiliated with the site should create the channel, it only takes a few mins as I said :P

I'll look into some sort of solution.

a cia.vc bot would be nice for the channel (posts revision-control commit updates), pretty easy to setup with google code (and a free service): http://cia.vc/ :3

Create a channel on Quakenet (IRC network used by most gamers) and provide a link on this page to the Quakenet webchat (
http://webchat.quakenet.org/).
There is no wait or need for a request to create a channel there, you only need to join the channel and request Q to keep it.

Why not use the network where most gamers (as this is a plugin for CS:GO) are?
Seems a bit silly to me.
