Monitor Webpage, Trigger Script HELP!

hello, i need help for a code that only plays when changes are made on an webpage.
The script should only be triggered when changes are made on the page and then the rest of the script should run. (waiting for trigger)
(I already have a refresh script, and I'm just searching for a monitoring script and when changes are made, the rest of the script should trigger).
and the refresh script should stop when i am redirected to another page.
so when a new button appears on the page by refreshing, the "refresh script" should stop and execute the other script. but only as said, when the button appears.
